Comments policy

PEF solicits discussion of its blog posts. The comments area is moderated.

Readers are welcome to make comments, irrespective of political perspective, provided that they are related to the topic posted, and are not offensive, hateful, false, defamatory or legally questionable. Comments that deviate from the policy will be deleted.

While PEF reserves the right to delete comments, it has no obligation to remove comments from its comments area even if requested.

The first time you make a comment, it must be approved (which should not take too long, but sometimes we are away from a computer). After that, you can post directly to the comments area. Thanks for your patience.
